Last updated: April 8, 2026

Introduction

Bluegrass Advise LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is a Kentucky-based business advisory and consulting firm. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information we collect from visitors to our website and clients who engage our consulting services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information when you visit our website at bluegrassadvise.com, submit forms, communicate with us, or engage our advisory services. By using our website or providing us with your information, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

SMS/Text Messaging

Consent and Opt-In

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive SMS or text messages from Bluegrass Advise LLC, we may use your phone number to send you appointment reminders, consultation follow-ups, marketing messages, educational business insights, and other service-related communications via text message. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or receiving any services from us.

Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies and is approximately 4-8 messages per month. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Bluegrass Advise LLC is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier.

SMS Data Handling and Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your phone number and SMS consent data may only be shared with the following categories of service providers who are necessary to deliver our text messaging services:

  • SMS Platform Providers — third-party messaging platforms that facilitate the delivery of our text messages on our behalf. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than delivering messages for Bluegrass Advise LLC.
  • Telecommunications Carriers — mobile network operators involved in transmitting SMS messages to your device.

No other third parties receive access to your phone number or SMS opt-in data. We do not use your SMS opt-in data for any purpose unrelated to the text messaging services you have consented to receive.

SMS Data Retention

We retain your mobile phone number and SMS consent records for as long as you remain opted in to our messaging program. If you opt out by replying STOP, we will retain a record of your opt-out request to ensure we honor it going forward. SMS consent records and phone numbers of opted-out users are retained for a period of up to 12 months following the opt-out date for compliance and audit purposes, after which they are permanently deleted from our systems.

Opting Out of SMS Messages

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will send a one-time confirmation message and then promptly cease all further SMS messages to your number. Opting out of SMS messages will not affect any other communications you receive from us (such as email) or any services you have engaged.

Getting Help

You may reply HELP to any text message you receive from us for assistance. You will receive a response with our contact information and instructions on how to opt out. You may also contact us directly at info@bluegrassadvise.com with any questions regarding our text messaging practices.
